Quad Roller Mill for Ultra High precision Strip Finishing

The new Tetra TT120 combines the four high rolling system with the very latest machine control technology to provide an Ultra High Precision Strip Finishing machine, based around OAM's unique and proven system of rolling using Four Specially Hardened cylinders.

This machine is intended for strip finishing applications where very high tolerances and / or extremely fine material thickness are required. Integrating all of the necessary elements to control the working material in the rolling processes provides a machine capable of unrivalled levels of precision, whilst at the same time maintaining a simplistic machine / operator interface.

The working material is managed by two separate and semi automated feed and collation mechanisms incorporating motor drives coupled to frictionless and infinitely controllable clutches, thus providing simultaneous control of independent take up and feed tensioning.

An automatic open circuit oil lubrication and closed water cooling circuit, are combined to the rolling elements in order to maintain and guarantee the critical components, and therefore ensure the highest levels of finished product quality and finish for an extended life cycle.

A user selectable semi-closed circuit oil circulation and recovery circuit is provided for the working material, allowing for in process lubrication as and when required by the operator.
